Veneers in
North Las Vegas, NV

About veneers

Veneers are a quick way to a beautiful smile. They are ideal for patients with teeth that are stained, chipped, or have gaps. A veneer is a thin piece of porcelain that recreates the natural look of a tooth, while also providing strength and protection like natural tooth enamel. They are custom-made to match the size and shape of your teeth.

Benefits of veneers

Veneers have many benefits in dentistry because they:

  • Are less intrusive than crowns or braces
  • Can close gaps
  • Can correct small misalignments
  • Enhance the brightness of your teeth
  • Address issues like discoloration, fractures, or chips

The veneer process

The process of placing veneers typically takes one to two visits to our office. We will clean the tooth and determine the correct shade for the veneer. Then, we will remove a small amount of tooth enamel to provide room. We’ll take impressions of your teeth and provide you with a temporary veneer while your permanent one is made.

When your veneer is ready, our team in North Las Vegas, NV will attach it to your tooth. He will ask you how it feels because this is an irreversible treatment, so it’s important that your veneer feels comfortable. Veneers will need to be replaced at some point, no matter how well you take care of them. Proper oral hygiene like regular brushing and flossing will help them last as long as possible.
